If a man of a caste under those of the Brahman and Kshatriya kills a man of the same caste , he has to do expiation , but besides the kings inflict upon him a punishment in order to establish an example . यदि ब्राह्मण और क्षत्रिय से इतर जाति का कोई व्यक्ति उसी जाति के किसी व्यक्ति की हत्या कर देता है तो उसे प्रायश्चित करना पड़ता है लेकिन इसके साथ ही राजा भी दूसरों के लिए उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करने के लिए उसे दंड देते हैं .
